Grief, regret, and loss inevitably find us despite attempts to evade them.
Once immersed in the darkness it is difficult to conceive we will ever return to the light. The impossible weight pulls us even further into the abyss.
I have made a conscious decision to cast grief as an eclipse, a temporary loss of light. The obscuration is transient and eventually the shadow will diminish and light will return. Without light/hope darkness wins.
